St. Patrick's Day

Happy, Happy, Happy St. Patrick's Day! What a glorious day for the Irish. It's a very good day for the rest of us, who get to party with the Irish. I checked Wikipedia for the history of St. Patrick's Day, and there's a few things I learned; Originally, the colour associated with Saint Patrick was blue, but then people gradually started wearing green, and it became the associated colour of St. Patrick's Day. It's a religious holiday but nowadays it's more like a national day for Ireland. St. Patrick's Day is celebrated all around the world; countries like Argentina, New Zealand, Canada and Australia (even Japan (!) among many other countries) celebrate this particular holiday. Today, St. Patrick's Day is probably the most widely celebrated saint's day in the world.

Tonight, I will join the celebration. Woohoo!
