Travel Diary Part Fifteen

Monday was Manchester Day. We left in the morning and came back late at night. We walked around for hours and hours, trying to do some shopping - not very successful. We did find a few things I wanted, so all in all it was a good day.

We got the train to Manchesters Victoria Station, then walked through some Uni grounds (?) towards the largest shopping centre I've ever been to. I had been there before, but didn't spend too long in there and therefore did not realize how fucking huge it really is! We literally only stayed in that one shopping centre.. We obviously left it to have a smoke and some fresh air, but going through the whole place, really took all day, so we didn't need to leave it to find any shops - the 240 shops in the shopping centre were plenty.

I love the Food Court. It's a big open space with loads of tables and all the food you could imagine. They are all next to each other - KFC, Indian, Chinese, McDonalds and something I had never had before - Taco Bell. So after walking around for a little bit, we decided to visit the Food Court for some lunch - nachos from Taco Bell. Later on in the day we got KFC. We've ate KFC 3 times during this holiday, and we might need to eat it again before we leave England. But back to Taco Bell - it was really good! I know I should have got like tacos or tortilla or what not, but they had Volcano Nachos or something in those lines, and I just had to get it. I'm a sucker for anything spicy. If I ever come across another Taco Bell, I'll definitely get something foodier (not really a word) and not just nachos.

After walking around all day and then getting food again, we got on the train back home. It was a really nice day, even though is was a really long one. We got home, and not too long after that, we went to bed. But before falling asleep, I read a few pages of Fifty Shades Darker - the second book of the series. Can't wait to read more. And the third book hmmm. And the movie!?

Ps. There was a milkshake joint in Manchester, with every type of milkshake you could ever imagine. 170 different toppings and millions of variations. It was really hard to choose which toppings to get on our milkshakes, but at the end we went for Cream Egg (chocolate) and Fishermans Friend. They were fucking delicious!!
